These eggs hatch and grow into termites that travel through homes and businesses, causing serious and expensive damage as they eat and travel their way through lumber, wood panels, flooring, sheetrock, wallpaper, plastics, paper products and fabric made of plant fibers. Termites Termites range in size between three and 20 millimeters, generally have an off-white body, straight antennae, and flying termites have four wings that are all the same length.
